Traffic Accidents

Road Traffic accidents are the most common cause of death among young people, especially males and are  leading cause of physical disability.

Reducing the number of traffic accidents and the resulting injuries and deaths is a priority throughout the Country.

In Uganda, exposure to potential road traffic injuries has increased over the years because of rapid motorization, poor road conditions, rapid population growth,

lack of safety features in cars, crowded roads and poor road maintenance.
